Why can't the library run directly from the NI-supplied hard drive? Hard drives are super cheap in comparison to years ago but still.a little absurd.

The first is that although Komplete 11 comes on a hard drive, you still have to have your own hard drive to install the sounds on. On the practical end, I have a couple of complaints. These sound libraries and instruments are deep, inspiring and fun, highly recommended for the sonics. Session Drummer, West Africa and the Indian library are wonderful too. Still going through the libraries but stand outs for me so far are Absynth, Massive and Prism in terms of synths. But the sounds in Komplete 11 (upgraded from Komplete Select). My keyboard chops are lame, so the S49 is a real gem for me to work quickly. I'm a guitar playing rocker at heart but I do need to create music in a variety of genres for film, small media companies and commercials. To be serious, I find this combination of tools very liberating and inspiring. All of the products perform as expected, so much so, that if there are no special creations coming out of my music studio, I can only blame myself. He recommended the Focusrite Scarlet 2i2, and appropriate cables, all of which rounded out my package. I had to purchase the recommended audio box to get away from my headphone jack on my MacBook Pro.

He helped me make sure that I had the right hardware to support the installation and could use it properly, and the intent was to also purchase Komplete 11 Ultimate upgrade (of Select) and thereby get a fantastic bundle a great price. I needed to look at other options and I chose Komplete 11 Select. Said I could buy the extra keyboard I was thinking about, or consider software to add depth and breath to my tools.
